Sometimes you have to dance in the rain

Oh to be a kid again.. At what point do we become so self-conscious that we forget to enjoy the simple things in life?? Gardening like children requires a lot of patience, nurturing and some rain to grow, because of that there’s a lot we can learn from both. That’s my lesson for today.

This past weekend we finally caught a break and it rained..Anna put on her raincoat (no hood of course), boots, grabbed her pail and went dancing around getting soaked to the bone. Not a care in the world. Nice huh??

We have a tendency to rush through the moment instead of savoring it, while the years slowly start slipping away. Next time you find yourself stressing about what’s next, or that long list of things left to do, think about Anna and try dancing in the rain. It might give you a new perspective..
